Filipino gymnastics ace Carlos Yulo added two more medals to his impressive collection after clinching bronze medals in both the vault and parallel bars at the 2025 Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Yulo, known for his explosive power and world-class precision, finished third in the men’s vault final with a combined average score of 14.783, behind gymnasts from China and South Korea. He followed that up with another bronze in parallel bars, scoring 14.566, displaying his technical control and grace throughout the routine.
“Of course, I always aim for gold, but I’m still proud,” Yulo shared. “There’s more work to be done, and I’m taking these results as motivation for the next competitions.”
Yulo’s performance earned praise from both fans and experts, especially given the tough competition and the adjustments he’s made after switching coaches and training routines earlier this year.
Despite narrowly missing out on gold or silver, these medals serve as a strong sign of consistency for Yulo, who remains one of Asia’s most promising gymnasts heading into the World Championships and ultimately the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
